Shelby Kent-Stewart

Shelby's Featured Book

If you had the power to see your past and future and commit it to words, would you do it? Neither memoir nor tell-all, this collection of haikus is one writer’s trek to discover the truth of her past and vision for her future in seventeen syllables at a time.

About Shelby

Writer, fighter, bigot-smiter, romancer, dancer, necromancer, I’m the broad your mama warned you about, sweet as pie one day, the devil’s own handmaiden the next. As to the rumor I’m the love-child of William S. Burroughs and Sylvia Plath, I’ll neither confirm nor deny.

I penned my first short story at ten and many others followed, some finding their way into local papers and scholastic magazines and some my mom had bronzed. In one capacity or another, I’ve been writing all my life, advertising copy, political speeches, screenplays and books. Depending on my mood, it can be a mainstream thriller one day, erotic romance the next, whatever floats my literary boat.
